Description
PRODUCT PREPARATION: Etching may be required prior to application. The surface must be clean and dry. Any sealers or paint will need to be removed from the surface prior to the dye application, as they prevent penetration.
PRODUCT APPLICATION: Mix one 8 oz. bottle of Advanced Acetone Dye with 1 gallon of Advanced Acetone and shake or stir well (for best results, after mixing let stand for 3 hours prior to applying). Apply with an Acetone compatible sprayer, brush or roller – applying a uniform coat with no puddles. The product will dry in approximately 1-5 minutes. To remove chalk residue, lightly use an orbital scrubber and/or a mop and water. Apply Advanced Armor-Thane or Advanced Solvent-Based Clear Sealer 36 hours after staining for best results. Approximate coverage: 400-600 sq. ft. per gallon using an acetone sprayer.
CAUTION: Ensure that you have enough air ventilation and use adequate protection (gloves, mask, and eye protection). The product contains a fine powder and the dust may cause eye, skin or respiratory irritation.
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush with water and continue for 15 minutes, lifting both eyelids. Seek medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and use emollient skin cream.
INHALATION: Move to fresh air. If breathing difficulty occurs administer oxygen. If difficulty continues, seek medical attention.
*Acetone Dye Stains are UV stable but are NOT fade resistant. Some fading may occur if applied to surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.
